Having raised our Series A in January 2024, we are continuing to evolve and further our mission to radically simplify content creation, we are looking for a motivated Social Media Strategist to join our dynamic marketing team.

About the role:

As Social Media Strategist at Podcastle, you’ll play a key role in planning and executing our social media content strategy. You’ll work directly with the Senior Content Manager to keep our social media channels active and engaging and ensure that creators, podcasters and marketers know about the Podcastle brand.

Typical responsibilities include:
  • Generating a strategy for our social media channels, with a particular focus on TikTok and Instagram, that will engage creators and encourage them to try out Podcastle’s suite of tools.
  • Creating video, visual and written content together with our Content Strategist, as well as freelancers and agencies.
  • Monitoring performance of the social media channels and ensuring we are consistently working towards growing following and engagement. 
  • Working with the Senior Content Manager to develop content for LinkedIn.
  • Constantly be learning from the communities we target to create content that is relevant and authentic.
We’re looking for someone with the following skills and qualifications:
  • At least 3+ years of experience working in social media marketing, ideally in a B2C, marketing agency or SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of not just running social media accounts but creating growing and highly engaging channels.
  • The ability to be hands on in creating short-form video content such as TikToks, Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc. is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail when it comes to both copywriting and design, ensuring assets are delivered to your brief.
  • A personal interest in podcasting, YouTubing, streaming or other content creation would be highly advantageous.
  • A data-driven mindset that uses analytics to inform creative decisions, figure out what’s working and how to get the most out of our content.
  • Experience working in a structured way, using project management tools like Trello and Jira to document workflow.
