About the role:

The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will take the lead on key strategic initiatives as the point person for customer communication across channels, including email, website, mobile app, and in-product touchpoints. The right candidate will be customer-centric, entrepreneurial, and possess the ability to take business needs & insights and translate them into actionable & effective marketing campaigns.  

You will report directly to the Head of Marketing, working closely with the executive leadership team. You’ll also partner internally with Content Marketing, Customer Success, and Growth teams to drive customer engagement and retention.

While the role will be 100% remote, we prefer candidates based in Europe or US/Canada (eastern time) for smoother collaboration across time zones. 

What you'll do:
  • Own end-to-end lifecycle marketing strategy and campaign execution/optimization, including user onboarding, engagement, nurture, and retention.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities to drive product engagement and upsell through audience segmentation and experimentation.
  • Plan and execute data-driven campaigns via owned channels (Email, Push, In-Product Messaging, etc) using marketing automation software (including audience selection, triggers, segmentation, etc.).
  • Partner with engineering, design, product, and analytics teams to implement and properly measure campaign effectiveness.
Who we're looking for:
  • Bachelor's Degree, ideally in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of experience in lifecycle strategy or email marketing, preferably in SaaS businesses.
  • Expertise and comfort using marketing automation tools and ESPs (e.g. Braze, Iterable,, Hubspot, etc.).
  • Deep experimentation experience and demeanor with a proven track record of performing A/B tests, translating data into insights, and optimizing program/channel effectiveness.
  • Ability to build and implement email templates in HTML / CSS.
  • Excellent communication skills to thrive in a cross-functional environment (regularly communicating with engineers, designers, product managers, fellow marketers, and leadership).
  • An aptitude for learning quickly, embracing change & ambiguity.
  • A bias for action & execution, scrappiness with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Design skills a huge plus.
