Podcastle is an early-stage startup backed by Sierra Ventures, based in the US and Armenia.

But enough about us, what about you? Are you ready to help revolutionize multimedia storytelling? We are currently looking for someone to step into the role of Head of Marketing and guide Podcastle’s marketing strategy and execution. The successful candidate will have a seat at the executive table and will help define the company culture, develop our product and GTM strategies, and contribute to the company's overall business.

Your Impact:
  • Define how the Podcastle brand promise, products, and features connect with the needs of our existing and prospective users
  • Map out our total addressable market, their pain points, needs/desires, and how Podcastle fits into their lives
  • Model how different user segments can maximize their utility from Podcastle
  • Drive user and revenue growth
  • Build a synergistic relationship between all key marketing functions: Acquisition, Lifecycle/CRM, Content, Product Marketing, Brand, etc
  • Work with Podcastle management team and conduct relevant research to determine go-to-market strategy
  • Develop a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness and trials among target audiences
  • Hire and manage appropriate teams for each stage of growth, which may include product, lifecycle and content marketing; sales marketing; social media, ASO and SEO; PR and events
  • Build a transparent and scalable growth machine, own demand generation end-to-end, identify opportunities to develop new channels and/or expand existing ones for customer acquisition
  • Serve as a model of effective management and leadership across the company
  • Identify opportunities for co-marketing and business development to drive awareness and distribution
Requirements:
  • Experience in senior marketing role at a SaaS company, preferably early-stage 
  • Demonstrated success in leading growth for a global B2C or B2B (with self-serve motion) company with deeper experience in product marketing preferred
  • Ability to think big picture while being hands-on when needed
  • Strong communications skills and ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous situations with a distributed, international management team and colleagues
  • Highly analytical with a passion for data and optimization, including running A/B tests
  • Solid understanding of multi-channel marketing, including SEO, ASO, email, CRM, etc.
  • Passionate about driving growth and getting results
  • Experience managing teams of at least 3-5 ppl
