About the role:

As a Content Strategist at Podcastle, you’ll play a key role in content planning and execution, helping potential Podcastle users discover our range of AI-powered tools through organic marketing channels.

You’ll be working directly with the Senior Content Manager, as well as copywriters, SEO technicians and PR and outreach specialists to research and plan ideas for content such as blog posts, landing pages, social posts and emails.

Typical responsibilities include:
  • Management of the Podcastle Blog including research and ideation for new topics and formatting and posting blogs using our CMS
  • Content auditing to ensure existing content is up-to-date and high-quality
  • SEO Keyword research and mapping to identify content gaps
  • Blog-writing and briefing out work to freelance content producers, as well as editing their work
  • Copywriting across different channels including press releases, social media posts, email newsletters, video scripts, as well as some product copy
  • Generating creative ideas for social media, PR, email and other marketing campaigns
We’re looking for someone with the following skills and qualifications:
  • At least 3+ years of experience working in content marketing, ideally in a B2C, marketing agency or SaaS environment
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices - both how to optimize with keywords, but also how to structure content to rank highly in SERPs
  • Strong attention to detail when it comes to copywriting and a flair for writing attractive or entertaining copy
  • An interest in podcasting, YouTubing, streaming or other content creation would be highly advantageous
  • A data-driven mindset that uses analytics to inform creative decisions, figure out what’s working and how to get the most out of our content
  • Experience working in a structured way, using project management tools like Trello and Jira to document workflow
